Tan Lo, principal of Barrett Lo Visionary Development and a lead financier on multiple large-scale developments, is the steady, quiet presence that helps propel Barrett Lo projects forward. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Tan arrived in Milwaukee at age 17 to study architecture and building design. Since that time, Tan has gained extensive experience in the development industry and has committed to Milwaukee – focusing on ground-up development and growing the BLVD portfolio, including through his unique ability to provide funding from overseas. Locally, Tan is recognized as one of Milwaukee’s most influential business leaders and was named to Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 under 40 in 2015.
Joel Aizen, the behind-the-scenes problem solver and chief financial officer of Barrett Lo Visionary Development, recognizes the innovation and imagination inherent in transformative development and does the difficult work of bringing those images to life. His areas of expertise range from asset management to the negotiation of financial, development and tax-incremental financing (TIF) agreements – consistently ensuring that both the finer details and the bigger picture are achieved.
